Sunshine Coast Show Jumping Club, ANZAC Show
First Show of 2021 - Done and Dusted and wasn't it spectacular.
I was fortunate enough to have a number of my Sponsored Riders attend and compete over the weekend; Kirstie Ansell, Brianna Phillips, Chris and Jazz Holland and the Kolora Lodge Team. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint.
Kirstie had some wonderful results on her 4 horses and I am so proud of her for stepping up with her wonder mare Tulara Stolenksy (Stella) to Grand Prix. Here are some results over the weekend for her team:
Tulara Stolensky - 2nd 1.25m Championship and first Grand Prix start.
Vakarra Checkassini - stepping up to 1.25m and 1.30m for only 4 faults.
Vakarra Euclase - stepped out at his first show, jumping well but just green.
Vakarra Dicaprio jumped around clean all weekend in his 90cm classes.
Brianna Phillips brought her two Geldings down and had great rounds all weekend on both her boys. I may have influenced her into doing the 1.15m Championship and after completing the Jump-Off we found out that some fences were just under 1.30m. Such a big confidence boost for Brianna and I can not wait to see her continue to strive.
Chris and Jazz Holland came out and had a great few rounds. Chris stepping his super mare, Elsa, up to 1.30m and making it through to the Jump Off in the Grand Prix. Jazz had some super moments in her rounds with her mare Clarice.
Team Kolora Lodge (I nearly thing I need a whole post to just them). They had a wonderful show. Was so lovely to see Michelle and Ruby back out and jumping heights a little more to Ruby's Size (1.25m Championship). Pete was back out with the lovely Denny for a 2nd in the Grand Prix, rode the beautiful Stallion Kendrick in the 1.05m and stepped up to the 1.15m Championship (I may or may not have told Michelle that Kendrick needs bigger jumps to make the photos look better - Oops), and rode the Smith Family's Ghia around her first 1.05m in Australia. The twins, Elkee and Emily, had there speedy pants on in the Junior and I am still so proud of them (Yes, I am still getting used to them being so grown up and jumping bigger heights). Maleah had a super show, bringing her 4 year old Matlida out for the 1.05m Up and Coming Series and they won that. Maleah had some wonderful rounds on Vakarra Champagne and Finch Farm Carlsberg in the 1.25m Championship and the Junior, taking out the Junior on Carl (FF Carlseberg). Maleah also stepped up with Capulet Ego Z and PSS Chantilly to the Grand Prix with just an unlucky rail on each in the Jump Off (man is watching that taking some getting used to).
How lucky am I to have the best team in the world.
I don't have the words to describe how proud I am of them all.
Cant wait for the next one.
Much Love,
T xx
